For more than 5000 years, all major civilizations throughout history have relied upon essential oil's healing properties. And science has proven the benefits as well with over 10,000 studies published on the therapeutic value of essential oils.
When using essential oils its important to keep in mind that not all essential oils are created equal. There are four grades of of essential oils:
Synthetic and altered oils. These oils are created in laboratories and are considered the lowest grades of oil.
Natural and "pure" oils. These oils are overly processed, so they lose healing compounds. Natural oils are the most commonly sold type of essential oils.
Therapeutic-grade essential oils. These medicinal oils have been steam-distilled with healing compounds. The drawback about these oils is that they may be derived from plants & herbs that have been grown using pesticides.
Certified organic therapeutic-grade oils. These are the highest grade of essential oils from certified organic sources with the greatest healing properties.

HOMEMADE HAND SANITIZER 3 tablespoons aloe vera gel 1 tablespoon filtered water 5 drops tea tree essential oil 1 teaspoon vitamin E squeeze bottle 1. Combine all ingredients and mix. 2. Transfer ingredients into squeeze bottle.
HOMEMADE FRANKINCENSE AND MYRRH BODY LOTION ¼ cup olive oil ¼ cup coconut oil ¼ cup beeswax ¼ cup shea butter 2 tablespoons vitamin E 20 drops frankincense essential oil 20 drops myrrh essential oil BPA-free plastic lotion dispenser bottles 1. Put olive oil, coconut oil, beeswax, and shea butter in glass bowl, then place the bowl in saucepan with water. 2. Heat stove to medium and mix ingredients together. 3. Once mixed, put in refrigerator for an hour until solid. 4. With a regular mixer or hand mixer, beat the mixture until it is whipped and fluffy. Then add vitamin E and essential oils and mix. 5. Fill containers and store in cool place.
HOMEMADE HORMONE BALANCE SERUM 3 ounces evening primrose oil 30 drops clary sage oil 30 drops thyme oil 30 drops ylang-ylang oil glass vial with dropper 1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Put into glass vial with dropper. 3. Rub 5 drops onto neck 2 times daily.
HOMEMADE PROBIOTIC TOOTHPASTE ¼ cup coconut oil 3 tablespoons bentonite clay 2 capsules of probiotics 10 drops of peppermint essential oil silicone tube or glass container 1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Put into silicone tube or sealed glass container. 3. Brush teeth for 2 minutes, 2 or 3 times daily.
HOMEMADE LAVENDER SOAP BAR 20–30 drops of lavender essential oil soap base 3 drops of vitamin E soap mold of your choice
